Why WIN? WIN will better position us to carry out our civil and cultural activities impacting women and children, enhance membership growth, increase member engagement, and provide additional financial support to the branch.
Through collaboration across Henrico NAACP branch standing committees and with external allies, when appropriate, WIN seeks to:
- enhance the leadership role of women.
- serve as an advocacy vehicle to address social economic, political, educational, health and welfare issues affecting women.
- advocate for the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual development of children; and
- support the policies as well as the on-going mission and vision of the NAACP.
